La Marseillaise - sheet music

Here are some GIFs of the transcription to La Marseillaise. Click on each part (1-3) to see the pictures. If you have a high bandwidth machine (or you aren't actually paying for your net access), you can click on Complete Score to see all three parts at once. I do not advise doing this if you've got a slow connection. After viewing each image, use the back button / pop-up menu in your browser (if you're using an old version of Netscape you should use the pop-up menu) or click on the Sheet Music menu icon in the left hand frame to get back to this page. If you have difficulty reading the score, use your browser's menu to open it in a new window.

Bringing up the complete score will also present you with a pop-up audio menu, allowing you to hear the music as you read it. The score with words is precisely that: the complete score and the words to all the verses. This section is recommended only for people with at least an 800 x 600 display and a fairly fast connection.

There are now some smaller images available which are just about readable and less than half the size of the bigger ones.

The larger images have been adjusted so that once printed they each fill a side of A4 paper. Or at least they're supposed to - you might have to fiddle around with your browser. I recommend printing each page separately instead of printing the complete score, since the page breaks are unpredictable. Don't blame me. Well OK, you can blame me if you want, but before you do, ask yourself who else would go to all the trouble to scan in sheet music and put it on the web for you? No-one. So be a bit more grateful!
